Do not strike the stamp with a hammer. Arbor Press Instructions Place evenly cased (moistened) leather on a sturdy platform beneath the anvil. Set the stamp on the leather and a flat plate or block on top. Apply steady pressure for 15–20 seconds. Check the impression and repeat for more depth. Vise Instructions Sandwich the cased leather and stamp between two flat boards or plates. Secure the stack in a vise and tighten firmly for 15–20 seconds. Release, inspect depth, and repeat if needed. Best Results: Casing Leather Moisten the entire piece with a sponge to avoid water spots and get an even bite. A thick scrap of leather or pad on top helps spread pressure for a uniform mark. Cleaning & Care Rinse or lightly scrub the engraved face after use and dry before storage. Avoid impact tools to protect the fine detail. Lifetime Guarantee If normal press use no longer gives an acceptable image, return the stamp for a replacement. Use with a hammer voids the guarantee.
