This stamp should never be used with a hammer. Arbor Press Instructions Place your cased leather on a firm, flat surface under the press anvil. Set the stamp on top of the leather and place a flat board above it. Apply steady downward pressure for 15–20 seconds. Check the imprint and press again if you want more depth. Vise Instructions Place the cased leather and stamp between two flat boards. Tighten firmly in a vise for 15–20 seconds. Inspect the impression and repeat if needed. Best Results: Casing Leather Wet the entire piece of leather with a damp sponge before pressing. Even casing prevents water spots and helps the engraved lines grab cleanly. A pressing pad on top helps distribute pressure. Cleaning & Care Rinse or gently scrub the engraved face after use. Avoid impact tools to keep the fine engraving sharp. Lifetime Guarantee If the stamp stops making a clean impression under normal press use, you may return it for a replacement. Hammer use voids the guarantee.
