Do not strike this stamp with a hammer. Arbor Press Instructions Place evenly cased leather on a sturdy platform under the anvil. Set the stamp on the leather and place a flat plate or block on top. Apply steady pressure for 15–20 seconds; check and repeat for more depth if needed. Vise Instructions Sandwich the cased leather and stamp between two flat boards or plates. Clamp the stack in a vise and tighten firmly for 15–20 seconds. Release, inspect the impression, and repeat as desired. Best Results: Casing Leather Moisten the entire piece with a sponge before pressing to avoid water spots and get a uniform bite. A thick scrap of leather or a pressing pad on top helps distribute pressure evenly. Cleaning & Care Rinse or lightly scrub the engraved face after use, then dry before storage. Avoid impact tools to protect fine detail and extend tool life. Lifetime Guarantee If normal press use no longer gives an acceptable image, return the stamp for a replacement.
