It will not withstand hammer impacts and may break if struck. Arbor Press Instructions Place fully and evenly cased leather on a solid platform under the press. Set the stamp on the leather and place a smooth board or plate above it. Apply firm, steady downward pressure for 15–20 seconds. Check your impression and repeat for greater depth. Vise Instructions Sandwich the stamp and cased leather between two flat boards. Tighten firmly in a vise for 15–20 seconds. Remove and inspect; repeat as needed. Best Results: Casing Leather Moisten the entire piece of leather evenly using a damp sponge. Uneven wetting can create blotchy or shallow impressions. Using a pressing pad helps distribute pressure and sharpen knotwork detail. Cleaning & Care Rinse or gently scrub after use and dry completely. Avoid striking tools to preserve the engraved artwork and extend the life of your stamp. Lifetime Guarantee If your stamp stops producing clean impressions under normal press use, it may be returned for a replacement. Hammer use voids the guarantee.
