Do not strike with a hammer. Arbor Press Instructions Set evenly cased leather on a solid platform beneath the anvil. Place the stamp on the leather and a flat plate or block on top of the stamp. Apply steady pressure for 15–20 seconds; check the result and repeat for more depth. Vise Instructions Sandwich cased leather and stamp between two flat boards or plates. Secure the stack so the stamp won’t shift, then place it in the vise. Tighten firmly for 15–20 seconds; release and inspect depth; repeat as needed. Best Results: Casing Leather Moisten the entire piece with a sponge to avoid water spots and uneven impressions. A thick scrap of leather or pad on top of the stamp helps distribute pressure for uniform results. Cleaning & Care Rinse or scrub the face after use and dry before storage. Avoid impact tools to preserve engraved detail and extend tool life. Lifetime Guarantee If normal press use no longer produces an acceptable image, return the stamp for a replacement.
