Do not strike this stamp with a hammer. Arbor Press Instructions Place evenly cased leather on a solid platform beneath the press anvil. Set the stamp on top of the leather and place a flat plate or block above it. Apply steady downward pressure for 15–20 seconds. Check the impression and repeat if you want more depth. Vise Instructions Sandwich the cased leather and stamp between two flat boards or plates. Clamp the stack in a vise and tighten firmly for 15–20 seconds. Release, inspect the imprint, and repeat as needed. Best Results: Casing Leather Moisten the entire piece of leather with a damp sponge before pressing. Even casing helps prevent water spots and gives a smooth, even bite. Using a scrap of leather or pressing pad on top of the stamp helps spread pressure for a cleaner impression. Cleaning & Care Rinse or gently scrub the engraved face after use and dry it before storage. Avoid any impact tools so the fine knotwork detail stays sharp for years of leathercraft. Lifetime Guarantee If normal press use ever stops producing a clear image, you can return the stamp for a replacement. Using a hammer voids the guarantee.
