Maryland State Flag Leather Stamp (Acrylic) This Maryland State Flag leather stamp is a laser-engraved acrylic tool designed to create bold, clean impressions on properly cased leather. Each stamp is locally made in Southwest Missouri and built for leatherworkers who want sharp detail, repeatable results, and dependable shop performance. The stamp is approximately 1 inch tall, with the length scaled proportionally to match the flag design. Size options reflect the height of the stamp, while the width adjusts automatically to maintain correct proportions. This makes it a great choice for leather hat patches, belts, straps, wallets, and other small leather goods. Product Overview This listing includes the Maryland State Flag acrylic stamp only. The design is precision laser engraved to press deep, crisp lines into cased leather when used with steady, even pressure. The acrylic material is strong, long-lasting, and easy to clean between projects. Key Features Laser-engraved Maryland State Flag design Creates deep, crisp impressions on cased leather Durable acrylic construction for repeated shop use Easy to clean, scrub, and sanitize Ideal for hat patches, belts, straps, and custom leather projects Locally made in Southwest Missouri Important Use Note This stamp is designed for use with an arbor press or a vise using slow, even pressure. Do not strike with a hammer. Hammer use will damage the acrylic and void the guarantee. Arbor Press Instructions Place evenly cased leather on a solid surface under the press anvil. Set the stamp on the leather. Place a flat block or plate (wood or metal) on top of the stamp. Apply steady pressure and hold for 15–20 seconds. Check the impression and repeat if more depth is needed. Vise Instructions Place the cased leather and stamp between two flat boards or plates. Insert the stack into a vise and tighten firmly. Hold pressure for 15–20 seconds. Release, inspect the impression, and repeat if needed. Best Results: Casing Leather Moisten the entire piece of leather evenly with a damp sponge before stamping. Even casing helps prevent water spots and ensures clean, uniform impressions. Using a pressing pad or scrap leather on top of the stamp can help distribute pressure more evenly. Cleaning & Care After use, rinse or lightly scrub the engraved face and dry completely. Avoid impact tools to protect the engraved detail and extend the life of the stamp. Lifetime Guarantee This stamp includes a lifetime guarantee. If it no longer produces an acceptable impression under normal press use, return it for a replacement. Hammer use voids the guarantee. Custom Logo Options Custom acrylic stamps are available. Send a clean black-and-white version of your design to the shop email for review. Once approved, custom stamps can be produced to fit your project needs.
