DescriptionPreorder 2026 – Shipping starts mid MarchThis joyful collarette style dahlia known for its striking bicolor blooms. Double pink coral orange petals with a touch of apricot pink collarette and a stunning golden yellow center. Small 3-4″ flowers on a 4′ plant. This variety blooms abundantly and irresistible to butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators! Its show-stopping blooms make it one of the most popular with gardeners, perfect for borders and containers.Style: Collarette Height: 4’ (staking recommended) Bloom Size: 3-4” Bloom Period: Summer through first frost (latest to bloom in the field) Listing is for 1 tuber with at least one visible eye, may receive multiple tubers with multiple eyes depending on the type of dahlia. Tubers are all shapes and sizes.Planting Information Timing: Plant after the last frost when soil temperatures reach 60°F. Store tubers in a cool, dry, dark place until planting. Plant in a pot and keep indoors under lights if started early. Location: Select a sunny, well-drained spot. Planting Depth: Loosen soil about 1’ deep. Position the tuber with the top no more than 1-2” beneath the soil surface. Watering: Water well at planting, then do not water again until sprouts emerge to prevent rot. Soil Care: Enhance with compost and an all-purpose fertilizer for optimal growth.Growing Tips Pinching: Removing the growing tip after 3-4 sets of leaves encourages more blooms but delays flowering by a few weeks. Support: Stake tall plants to keep stems upright and prevent breakage. Deadheading: Removing spent blooms promotes continuous flowering.Overwintering End of Season Care: Let plants grow until the first frost. As temperatures drop, stems and flowers will die back, and the tuber will begin to harden.Lifting & Storage for areas where there are freezing temperatures Zones 3-7: After the first frost, allow tubers to harden for 1-2 weeks before lifting. Do not let tubers freeze. Shake off excess soil and dry for 24-48 hours out of direct sunlight. Store at 40-50°F in slightly moistened vermiculite or similar material.
