Seeds were sent to Europe (Germany and France) around 1730-1731, where they were popularized and given the name “China aster” by Linnaeus. About 24″ in height, an irresistible mix of 3″ size double blooms in shades of rich fuchsia, pink, dark purple, pale lilac and white. Great for container gardens and cut flowers.
